Both Inertia’s Structural and Civil teams are working on an exciting new mixed use development in Petrie. Split across 3 stages, the new complex includes large open space for public use, a supermarket, food and beverage stores and retail. Additionally the project will also feature a 4 level medical tower, a 7 level commercial tower, 6 level student accommodation and a two storey basement which will go right to the boundary of the train station and the main road.
The civil component of this design has some particularly complex aspects for which our team will be working hard to provide the most effective design solutions to achieve a fantastic result. We will be undertaking a road design and service relocation for a new four-way signalised intersection, as well as road widening on both local and state-controlled roads to allow for increased traffic in the area. Secondly, we will be providing trunk stormwater infrastructure upgrades for the greater catchment, and trunk stormwater sewerage infrastructure to run underneath a Queensland Rail railway line.
It is a pleasure to be working with McNab, Cottee Parker and ADP Consulting on this exciting new project!
