Structural Team Expanding – Welcome Jed

As Inertia’s structural engineering team expands to meet the increasing demand for our services, we are thrilled for Jed Michel to join the team as Senior Structural Engineer. Known for his excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, Jed will be a great asset to Inertia’s structural team.

Jed’s 10 year career in the industry includes extensive experience in site engineering, structural design, contract administration and project management.  Structural Principal Phil Latham welcomed Jed to the team, “We are excited to have Jed as part of team Inertia. The structural team has never been busier due to recent growth in high quality, premium residential and commercial developments in Brisbane, and Jed will help us to maintain our high quality standards and grow our strong reputation.”

Jed joins us after working in London over the past 5 years, where he worked on some exciting projects such as the refurbishment of London’s Olympic Stadium. His primary focus there was residential developments, including large basement projects which required a high level of problem solving skills in order to work around the complicated site restraints of London City.

Jed provides value for clients by not only maintaining Inertia’s high quality standard of work, but by surpassing expectation through consistently looking at alternatives to work towards better solutions. He shares his excitement for joining the team, “This opportunity at Inertia is an excellent next step in my career. Inertia is working on some innovative and iconic projects which I am thrilled to be able to be a part of.”
