Making the Most of The Gold Coast

Located a stone’s throw from Miami Beach and with breathtaking views of the Coolangatta Skyline and Miami Hill, ALH Group and Cayas Architects worked with Inertia to renovate the popular establishment to take full advantage of its location.

Split across two stages of development, stage 1 of The Miami Tavern opened in October and has transformed the restaurant on level two with wraparound windows and a stunning new deck that enables diners to enjoy a great meal and a cold drink against a spectacular backdrop.

Inertia provided civil and structural services, designing the deck and access to the tavern, working seamlessly with the project consultant teams and builder, North Sun, to stage works and ensure smooth delivery of the new structural elements and their integration into the existing structure.

Stage 2 has also just opened early this month, ready for the Coast’s influx of tourists looking to take advantage of the best of the beach and lifestyle on offer. Comprising a new beer garden, TAB and completely updated sports bar, the completed project is an excellent addition to the tavern and is destined to become a firm favourite with locals and tourists.
