Letter from the Construction Community regarding the Brisbane 2032 Olympics Legacy

Inertia Engineering has released an open letter to the Queensland Government and key stakeholders, outlining recommendations to ensure the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games leave a lasting and transformative legacy. These recommendations emerged from our ‘Beyond 2032: Building Brisbane’s Legacy’ event, where industry leaders came together to envision a future beyond just four weeks of sport. The letter addresses critical areas such as:

– Building sustainable sporting infrastructure
– Developing a future-ready transport network to unite SEQ
– Revitalising public spaces across Queensland
– Addressing housing affordability and homelessness
– Expanding the Games’ benefits beyond SEQ to support regional areas

We look forward to continuing the conversation so that the 2032 Games leave a legacy we can all celebrate and be proud of.
