Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Buildings team, where you will join a talented team of passionate engineers and drafters working on a broad range of projects and sectors including Health, Institutional, Entertainment and the Arts, Sports and Recreation, Seniors Living and Aged Care.

Requirements:

• A minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
• Chartered professional engineer status / Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) qualified
• Local experience in the design of private and public multi-level buildings, with at least 5-7 years recently in the building industry in Australia
• Experience interacting with clients and project teams, agreeing on deliverables, and managing resources to deliver projects
• Experience with managing finances on projects and delivering to fixed budgets
• Strong technical skills, from first principles to using software
• Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes
• Proven track record of coordinating teams, designs and projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to convey information accurately
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
