Look out Cristiano, move over Lionel, a new breed of soccer stars could be poised to set the world alight at the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

After gallantly going down 4:3 in extra time of a nail-biting grand final, Young Man United finished the season as minor premiers of Division 3 – Brisbane City Indoor Sports, earning plaudits for their style of football. Combining a mix of wise heads and youthful energy the boys racked up the wins on the back of aggressive defending, silky midfield skills and lethal finishing.

According to an unnamed source a number of the boys are ready to come out of international retirement and throw their names into the mix for Bert van Marwijk’s World Cup squad. “We all hope the Socceroos are fit and that Bert has a full squad to pick from, but if needed the boys are ready and raring to go.”

Congratulations to the boys on their success, if any of our clients or partners fancy a social kick about, we’re always keen, so get in touch.
