Andrew Pilkington Strengthens Inertia’s Gold Coast Experience

We are excited to welcome Andrew Pilkington to Team Inertia in the role of Civil Engineer! Andrew has joined after 5 years in the industry, working across residential subdivisions, multistorey residential and commercial developments throughout South-East Queensland.

Although he is a Brisbanite at heart, Andrew has spent 3 years working on the Gold Coast, where he previously worked alongside our Senior Civil Engineer, Daley Curran. We hope Andrew has enjoyed having a friendly face around the office, because now he is looking at it all day!

Having picked up a number of jobs along the Gold Coast lately, it will be fantastic to have some more team members with good local knowledge of the area. Throughout his time there, Andrew worked on some fantastic projects in the area, such as The Southport School Annand Theatre, and Midwater Apartments, Main Beach, a 38 storey beachfront tower.

Joining Civil Principal Calvin Kirk and the rest of the Civil Team, Andrew has so far been keeping busy working on some of our large subdivision and townhouse projects. “I was excited to join the team because I heard about their fantastic culture, and had seen some of the interesting projects the civil team had picked up.”

Outside of work, you’ll find Andrew renovating his old Queenslander in Paddington, or playing a bit of indoor soccer. In fact, he used to play at the indoor sports centre on the Brickworks Park site which we will be repurposing into a fantastic new residential development.
