Senior Civil Designer Elevates Growing Civil Team

We are pleased to announce Benjamin Moyle has joined us as Senior Civil Designer.

Benjamin has a wealth of knowledge in all things technical design, with almost 20 years in the industry and specialising in large residential sub-divisions. In discussing projects that have defined his career, Benjamin recounts the master-planned development at Ecco Ripley, an immense project that included 815 residential lots, trunk infrastructure, parks, and major intersections. He has also delivered numerous residential townhouses, commercial developments, industrial warehouses, and schools throughout South East Queensland.

Our Civil Principal Calvin Kirk sees the knowledge and experience Benjamin brings to the team as invaluable.

“Our goal is to be forever improving and Benjamin further solidifies our design capability at a senior level. When you work at the pace we need to, it is imperative to be able to identify problems before they arise, and Benjamin has shown expertise straight off the bat through identifying issues and finding solutions on several of our larger projects” said Calvin Kirk.

Benjamin was eager to join us here at Inertia after being presented with the opportunity to be more hands-on with projects, develop deeper relationships with clients and build up his own portfolio. Having a few Inertian friends here already, the move was a no-brainer.

When Benjamin is not busy being a technical whiz, he is training for the Cairns half Ironman in June.

“Currently all I am doing is swimming, riding, running, sleeping, working, and doing it again. Do not mention crocodiles!” said Benjamin.

It is quite common knowledge that Senior Civil Designers are not just hard to find but also to recruit, so we are so glad to finally have you onboard Benjamin!
