Dynamic Duo join Civil Team

The building of our Land and Water team has gone up another notch with the additions of Civil Engineer Brenden Adams and Civil Designer Kate Betteridge.

Both join us after having worked together previously, mostly on large residential subdivision and urban development projects. Brenden began as a Graduate Engineer at the beginning of 2019, so he joins us after having worked in the field for a couple of years.

“The drawcard for coming to work at Inertia was to work on a range of different projects, surrounded by people who I can develop from at this stage in my career,” says Brendan.

Kate made the move to Brisbane last year after having worked in Townsville for six years, starting straight out of school as a drafter.

“I wanted to try something different, I was getting stuck in the same routine and needed to see what was out there,” says Kate.

Our Civil Principal Calvin Kirk couldn’t be happier with his growing team.

“Their skill-sets have slotted in perfectly as we expand our ability relative to volumes of incoming work. Delivery of top-quality product remains the focus and these two young guns complement this brilliantly,” says Calvin.

Outside of work, they both like to get outdoors, Brenden being a bit of a golf aficionado and Kate spending time with her mates relaxing at the beach.

Welcome aboard duo, great to have you!
