Meet our Associates – Ryan Llewelyn
Throughout his career, Ryan has developed impressive skills as a team lead, project manager, design manager and site supervisor on residential, commercial and industrial land developments, as well as civil infrastructure projects. With a focus on urban development, Ryan has an in-depth understanding of the full project lifecycle from feasibility and development application to construction and project handover.
“Most of my career has been in the large-scale masterplan and residential subdivision space. I get a kick out of creating new spaces for growing and changing communities, by providing site-specific solutions that produce the best possible outcome for each individual project. I try to push something different and really enjoy collaborating with Inertians and consultants alike, through learning and sharing knowledge”, said Ryan.
Known for his slick man bun and fast-paced walks around the office, Ryan is a man on a mission. This energy is matched at home in trying to keep up with his young daughter – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, hey?
“Just before starting at Inertia, I became a Dad for the first time, and I was looking for a change in experience and culture. I was looking for a place where I could develop my career, create a positive impact on those around me, and balance the challenges of engineering with my new chapter in life”
“What drew me to Inertia was the language used. Everyone at Inertia always spoke with excitement about what they did, and it was apparent to me that it was very people-focused. I joined a civil team of twelve as a Senior Engineer, where I saw the opportunity to grow our work in the subdivision space. It is pretty crazy how quickly that prospect developed into leading my own Greenfield team and becoming an Associate. I am proud of the culture and opportunities here and looking forward to seeing how that evolves.”
