Woolloongabba Village – The Final Reveal

Over the past two weeks, Scott Clements and Nader Ibrahim (O2LA) have taken us on a deep dive into the challenges, opportunities, and design thinking behind reimagining the Woolloongabba precinct.

Today, we are wrapping up the series with a look at the final vision – a connected, people-first neighbourhood built on shade, movement, heritage, and everyday amenity.

Throughout the series, one theme kept rising to the surface: connection. Socially, culturally, environmentally, and physically. It’s the foundation of this vision and the catalyst for a renewed village heart on Brisbane’s south side.

This is a once-in-a-century opportunity to reshape Woolloongabba into a precinct future generations will be proud of, and now is the moment to get it right.
