Haven House Woolloongabba is Now Open!

Haven House Woolloongabba is now open. Delivered by Property Industry Foundation and The Salvation Army Australia Youth Services QLD, the new development provides six young Queenslanders with a safe place to call home, with self-contained apartments and a shared Youth Hub supporting their journey towards stability and independence.
Inertia is proud to have contributed to the project through pro-bono initial structural engineering advice and recommendations. As Liam Blake shared: “I’m proud to have contributed as the structural engineer on this project supporting homeless youth. Being able to use our skills to create safe, lasting spaces that make a positive difference in people’s lives is incredibly fulfilling. Projects like this are a great reminder of the importance of giving back to our communities.”
But our involvement did not stop there. As part of the Make a House a Home initiative, our team joined volunteers from across the industry to help transform the apartments into welcoming and comfortable homes.
We are proud to have been involved in another Haven Project, and it was heartwarming to see so many across the industry come together to make a difference.
