Senior Structural Drafter – Built Environment

Are you an experienced Structural Drafter who enjoys preparing structural drawings for a diverse range of commercial projects? We have a position currently available for immediate start as a Senior Structural Drafter.

Inertia is an engineering consultancy specialising in delivering structural, civil, and water engineering solutions for clients within the built environment. Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent proven technical or construction experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of systems and procedures relating to the role, including practical knowledge, principle engineering and construction methods, relevant codes, standards and legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision on projects of significant scale and complexity.
• Demonstrated ability of reviewing project technical work and providing direction and guidance to project personnel.
• Advanced skill level in software such as Autodesk Revit/ AutoCAD.
• Advanced knowledge of clash detection software such as Autodesk Navisworks/ Revizto/ Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge in using markup software such as Bluebeam Revu.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Highly motivated and self-driven.
