Georgie – Great George Street, Paddington

Designed by Joe Adsett, Inertia was involved in the renovation and extension of this two-storey family home, including a brand new freestanding pool house structure.

The upper level which retains much of the home’s original charm features built-in planter boxes across the front and frameless corner glazing windows overlooking the backyard. Downstairs features a beautiful sunken living room with custom joinery and a second open-plan living and dining space with full-length glass sliders and high-level glazing which allows light to flow through the space.

The steelwork structure to support and brace the upper level was designed to be hidden in the window framing and fixtures resulting in clean lines and open spans stepping out into a spacious backyard and pool area.
