TQ Cycle Parks, Brisbane & Logan

We provided structural and flood engineering services for the development of innovative interactive cycle ‘school’ parks, fostering the next generation of young riders. As part of the Logan Enhancement Project, two parks are being created in Brisbane and Logan, designed to offer a secure environment.

Each park replicates a real road network, complete with roundabouts, junctions, road signs, lane markings, and speed limits, allowing young cyclists to experience and interpret road rules in a safe 200-metre asphalt path. Each park incorporates iconic elements, including bushland, suburban landscapes, the city skyline, industrial zones, the Brisbane and Logan rivers, and the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges.
