Everleigh State School, Greenbank

Inertia was engaged to provide civil and structural engineering services for this brand-new primary school located in the rapidly expanding area of Greenbank. The school has state-of-the-art educational facilities, including new administration buildings, food and amenities, a multipurpose activity centre, a resource centre, bike stores, bus stops, and a sports oval with tiered landscape seating and play areas.

This development will significantly increase the capacity of the local schooling network, in providing enrolment relief to the surrounding schools and communities. It’s incredible to see the result of such a large and important project that we have been involved with from the ground up!

Kaitlyn Webb, Design Manager, FKG:

Inertia played a key role during a tender where the design required approximately 2,500 truck movements to remove soil from the site. The team re-assessed the site levels and, in consultation with the architect, re-balanced the site to a near-even scenario while considering the geotechnical profiles. This work was a significant factor in the success of the tender.
