Great George – Charteris Street, Paddington

Inertia provided the structural engineering for this beautiful 3-storey home. This design seamlessly blends the old structure with the new elements as it steps up the sloping site. From the front, a large 3-storey glass tower addition connects the existing Queenslander to the new modern spaces out the back.

The extensive full-height glazing and frameless windows throughout the home were achieved by hiding the framing and bracing in the ceiling and floor space. Our team also engineered high block fences around outdoor alfresco, fireplace, and pool area to achieve private living spaces.
