Gawthern Drive, Pimpama

Inertia is providing the civil engineering services for this 75-townhouse development on Gawthern Drive on the Gold Coast.  Acting as the superintendent, our team is responsible for contract administration of all civil related items.

Big SEQ storm events mean that this project required large stormwater diversion channels. The main onsite contributing tributary (pictured) to Oakey Creek in Pimpama can handle approximately 15m³ per second and associated storage in the 100-year event. That means the channel conveys approximately 1 swimming pool of water every 3 seconds!

Inertia is delighted to be working on this project for Venture Crowd for who we have developed a wonderfully transparent working relationship with, and we look forward to providing further updates on the project progress.
