Mermaid Sanctuary, Mermaid Waters

Inertia carried out civil engineering and flood risk management for this spectacular 12 lot high-end residential development located in the heart of Mermaid Waters. Mermaid Sanctuary is a stunning community title subdivision, lined with cobblestone banded streets and luscious Canary Island Date Palms. The community boasts lot sizes up to 1,009m2, each with private waterfront access to the canal. The masterplan and home designs have been intended to consciously blend with the surrounding area, known for its relaxed coastal atmosphere and authentic lifestyle.

Inertia prepared earthworks, roadworks, stormwater and internal sewer and water design. Our scope continued through the construction phase as the Superintendent, where site constraints included construction of the stormwater outlet in tidal waters, construction on sand and constrained utility service location.
