Park House – Kittyhawk Drive, Chermside

Inertia provided structural engineering services for this innovative 9-storey residential development. The design posed challenges with its unique floor layout, where every 2-3 floors featured a change in floor plate, requiring multiple part-transfer floors throughout.

A key feature of this project was the design of the balconies, which allowed for generous outdoor space and included planters and a green facade. For the basement, Inertia delivered an innovative solution using cantilevered bored piers and shotcrete walls with no ground anchors, avoiding any future problems with the neighbouring properties.
