2018 A Year in Review

We are engineers, so naturally, we love numbers…

When it came to wrapping up 2018, we did the only thing we could, we let the numbers do the talking.

From more than a DA a week to reaching higher than Mt Kosciuszko, here are the numbers that made our year.

On a project front numbers are fairly easy, but they really are impressive and show just how hard our team have worked on behalf of our clients and just how we have brought our passion to their success.

Across 446 projects, valued at $685.7m, our team of Inertians has logged 1,066 site visits, some from the top of cranes. Moved 4089 swimming pools of rock and dirt on projects like Aspire. We have had 79 DA’s approved, including one at the tenth time of asking that have helped us to design 1,465 dwellings like the stunning Onyx in Paddington or helping clients take out the Master Builders Queensland Awards. We’ve added enough floors to scale Mt Kosciuszko and then some, on small boutique developments like Byron Street, Bulimba to adding new floors to existing towers at Midtown.

From a team perspective we welcomed 2 new principals and 4 new engineers as we also said farewell some old friends.

We added 3 babies, fingers crossed by the end of today it will be 4 – good luck Carolina!  Our people have completed 42.2km on foot, lost by the odd goal in 7 at futsal, hustled the 8 ball pool world and rode 200km on the Gold Coast sand.

Its been a big year, thanks for being part of it.
